Michael 4 Bodysuit Morph Expansion

there are a few things that people wanted to see in the bodysuit, along with a couple of fixes that were needed and some things that might make life easier.

This is a free expansion for the M4 Bodysuit. It has:

  • fixed the IK issue with the legs that caused them to go haywire when applying a mat
  • made all FBMs and PBMs dials in the body visible
  • remove the second Seams Gone morph that wasn’t working
  • added extra morphs:
    • pants
    • pantslong
    • crotch seam gone
    • front seam gone
    • shoulder front and back seam gone
    • shoulder seam gone
    • side seam gone
    • side trunk seam gone
    • thigh seam gone
    • waist seam gone
    • bulge
    • load left
    • load right

The astute among you will notice that the separate seams gone morphs allow you to create different styles of seams on the garment selectively, which should be useful for a few people, I hope. The seams gone morphs are not perfect, and some of them might still be a touch noticeable, but they are as good as I could get them in the limited time I had available. The Pants and pants long will give you tight pants, but should make it more usable for everyday -if tight- clothing. Bulge, load left and right are self-explanatory, I hope.

Instructions:

  1. download the zipped file
  2. unzip somewhere safe; you will find a file called M4-BodysuitExtended.rte
  3. open RTEncoder, click on “Decode”, select M4-BodysuitExtended.rte as the file to decode, then click on “Key” and navigate to Runtime\Geometries\DAZClothing\M4\ and select m4bodysuit.obj
  4. Save the file as M4 Bodysuit-AllMorphs.cr2 in the same folder that you keep the M4Bodysuit cr2, should be Runtime\Libraries\Character\DAZ’s Michael 4 Clothing

The file above is provided “as is”, as I really can’t support it atm; the fixes to the original issues should be considered as stop-gap measures, and I strongly suggest you use DAZ’ provided fixes when they come out; if you find you use the extra morphs I’ve added, you should be able to transfer them across.

Also be aware that the bulge and load left and right morphs will cause pokethough when the legs are bent. I drew the line there, otherwise I would have needed to add movements and stretching morphs for the bulge, and from there to seeing a request for mimic compatibility was just too small a step for my own comfort.
